Keys to Staying & Leaving:
Finances, Mental health, Recognition

The picture that emerges from the findings on employee engagement and employer choice is clear: financial compensation remains a critical factor for leaving an organization—but it is not the only one. High work pressure, poor relationships with supervisors, lack of recognition, and an unsatisfactory work-life balance are among the main reasons for voluntary resignation.

Reasons for Staying:
Balance and Financial Security

The research shows that employees prefer a balanced work experience, where competitive compensation and work-life balance emerge as key motivators. A sense of stability and the employer’s financial health reinforce trust, while career advancement opportunities, though less decisive, still play a role. This hierarchy reflects the modern shift toward employment models that combine financial security, personal well-being, and long-term sustainability—highlighting that the value of a job is measured not just by salary, but by the quality of life it provides.
